but his talent and his work seriously inspire me. in my search for further inspiration from mr. bergamin, i realized i've seen his work before.
this living room in elle decor was a favorite - i just hadn't remembered the designer's name! i'm not likely to forget again!
in looking through his work, i think my favorite is this beach home, also in brazil...
that rug is not so different from ours! and it's no secret i love the mix of global textiles. his mix is spot-on.
i love love love this dining room for a beach home. so perfect. the chairs add just the right amount of character with the more modern parsons-style table, and the way the oversized palms are hitting the ceiling is genius to me - every room needs something that's just a little off to keep it from being too stuffy. i wonder if he rents it out as a vacation home? :)
i have been so drawn to blues lately, and this indoor/outdoor space is no exception. aren't those baskets great?
